✈️ Summer Travel Alert: 7 Surprising Items You Can’t Pack
Dear Traveler,
As global travel picks up, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has updated its list of restricted and banned items for the summer season. At Xodus International Group, we’re committed to keeping your journeys smooth, stress-free, and safe.
Here are 7 items you should avoid packing to prevent airport delays or confiscations:
🚫 Newly Banned or Restricted Items
Loose Lithium Batteries
Only allowed in carry-on bags and must be properly protected.
Replica Weapons & Toy Guns
Includes water guns, bubble blasters, and prop items—even for children.
Alcohol Over 140 Proof
Completely prohibited in carry-on and checked luggage.

Smart Luggage with Non-Removable Batteries
Must be removable to be allowed on flights.
Wrapped Gifts
TSA may unwrap gifts during screening. We suggest waiting to wrap items until after arrival.
Certain Foods Over 3.4 oz
Spreads like peanut butter, dips, and sauces must go in checked baggage.
Loose Razor Blades or Straight Razors
Allowed only in checked baggage. Disposable razors are okay in carry-on.
