Itinerary 

Day 1  USA / DAKAR – Depart the US aboard Air France from New York (JFK) to Dakar, Senegal. Times TBA

Day 2  DAKAR – Arrive Dakar and meet our local representative and transfer to your hotel. Later we will have an orientation to be followed by Tour to Goree Island. Check into our hotel and relax. Later, enjoy a welcome dinner. D

Day 3  BANJUL – After breakfast, we have a short orientation and then transfer to your vehicle for your journey to Banjul. B/L

Day 4  JUFFUREH / FORT JAMES ISLAND – After breakfast, transfer to the harbor for our cruise to Juffureh and Fort James Island. Here you will visit the ancestral home of Alex Haley. B/L

Day 5 BANJUL – Enjoy breakfast and the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 6 THE GAMBIA/DAKAR – Today we take our flight to Dakar. Later, last-minute shopping if possible, later relaxation at our hotel and prepare for your flight back to USA.

Day 7 After breakfast this morning, say goodbye to new found friends, finish your packing and relax before you begin your journey back home.

Day 8 DAKAR/USA. Today we arrive back in the United States, times (TBA). Share your experiences with family and friends.
